This can occur rarely for changes in your browser or even a forum software update, even though you thought you were logged in forever. You may even encounter a message that says "too many failed login attempts - try again later" when you're sure you entered your correct username and password that you use for your membership login.
Should this occur you should delete the cookie (what is that? (https://www.kaspersky.com/resource-center/definitions/cookies)) that is keeping you logged in forever as it may be corrupted. One way to check that is try logging in with a different browser as cookies are browser-specific. Since cookies are stored in each browser's data to simplify the user experience, you are best served searching only for cookies associated with northcountycycleclub.org. Your browser may allow you to delete a specific cookie - our forum cookie is named SMFCookie288 and you should delete at least that, clear your browser cache, and try logging in again. The screenshot below shows how to delete the offending cookie in Chrome.

While looking at a NCCC Forum page, click the lock icon (1) next to the URL in the address bar. That pops up a menu where you click on "Cookies"

Then you get the view in the first screenshot, where you can open up www.northcountyclub.org, to show the SMFCookie288 (2) that you want to delete. Click on it for details and then click "Remove." Then clear your browser cache and login afresh (and stay on forever).
If you use another browser just google "howto delete cookies from Edge" or Firefox or Safari or ...

On a Mac with Safari, go to Settings (cmd-,), click on the "Privacy" tab, then click on "Manage Website Data":
