Tuesday, Sept. 16 marks the first day of the new "3 Foot Law." Bring your bike and join the press conference organized by the SD County Bike Coalition, AAA, CHP, and San Diego Police Dept.

WHEN: 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 16, press conference, b-roll and post-press conference interviews. Arrive 9:30 for demonstrations.

Most motorists have almost always given us 3-4 ft or more, as the DMV manual has been suggesting for years, but this makes the small fraction who enjoy giving us a close buzz every now and then legally liable for their road rage.
