Smart phone app color codes steepness of climbs

It's only for android phones as of now. Pretty useful for mapping rides. I suspect Karl and Jeff will go red and Peg will go green.

Then you have not ridden with Peg lately. She is quite the sadist when it comes to hills. We have had Cat 4 climbs the past 2 saturdays. Which are well into the red. I will make sure I strava the next hill day for proof.

I downloaded the trial, and found it poorly documented, slow, and difficult to use. Biggest complaint is mapping is done point to point, so you have to mark every curve in the road. Try routing up Mt Palomar that way! Ride With GPS is better, letting you "follow roads" (or not), and giving the elevation profile as you map the route, rather than calculating after the fact. Color coding is a slick idea, but only works between the points you have placed.

Still looking for an app that beats a Garmin. Not that I have a Garmin, but I like the way they give you current slope.

First thanks for your interest in our app and we hope you find it useful. We hope not bother to include this review because I hope this will be helpful.

If the route you want define goes by road It is not necessary to define each of the points along the route manually, just have to set the starting and end points and select the entry "Calculate Route" at the Edit menu to calculate the route, you can select between googlemaps or mapquest direction services.

We are working on a new version that will provide a more seamless experience to navigate the map (especially with long routes) and other improvements that we hope will be to your liking. We hope release it soon.

Your questions, comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I´m still working on it.
