A 30 mile ride from Carlsbad's Dove library up to Oceanside pier - almost, as Mission Avenue is closed for the duration and access through the car park off 1st St to the cycle path is blocked by construction material - and return via some steep hills around El Fuerte. 12 riders were joined by three from the injured reserve for our bi-monthly lunch, this time at BEACH PLUM KITCHEN, close to the library. Extensive patio space available for our large group and a place to store our bikes where we could keep an eye on them. Hope to see our recovering riders back soon.
